Hogeun Chi, DDS
Dr. Hogeun Chi was born in South Korea and moved to the US at the age of eleven. He grew up in Bethpage and Port Washington on Long Island.
He did his Undergraduate studies at SUNY Albany, before attending Post-Graduate studies at Columbia University for Human Nutrition. From there, he followed his passion into dentistry and continued his studies at New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
Dr. Chi is married to his wife, Lee, who is working alongside Dr. Chi as his office manager to provide assistance with administrative work, billing, insurance inquiries and more. They have two cats, Milky (Domestic Short Hair) and Cream (Scottish Fold), and one dog, Mocha (Mini-Aussie). They like to go hiking and camping with Mocha and in his spare time, Dr. Chi likes to play golf and soccer.
Dr. Chi is known for his pleasant chairside manner and is happy to openly discuss the treatment process with his patients to help them feel at ease and make informed decisions for their dental health. Dr. Chi and his team strives to provide quality care for his patients and they are excited to welcome new patients.
David
Dental Hygienist
David graduated with honors from Hudson Valley Community College's Dental Hygiene program in 2015 and has been practicing ever since. He has worked for several successful practices while honing his skills along the way. He became interested in dental hygiene after experiencing his own dental issues as an adult while never once having any cavities or other issues growing up.
After he joined Dr.Chi's team at Evergreen Dental Care, he has been providing therapeutic dental treatment and patient education, helping patients maintain their smile and oral health. He treats every patient like a long time friend and does everything possible to make them relaxed and comfortable. He goes above and beyond to provide effective, gentle treatment to each and every patient he meets. He prides himself on providing patient education, dedicating to using his knowledge and skills to help patients in understanding their specific situations and needs, and guiding patients on enhancing their home care skills.
David is also a local history buff and a classic car enthusiast and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors during his spare time.

Dental Assistant
Heisha began her journey in dentistry after moving to Houston, Texas, where she discovered her passion for the dental field. She attended college in Houston and graduated as a Dental Assistant in 2017. Since then, she has gained experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry and oral surgery.
Although she didn’t initially plan on a career in dentistry, Heisha recalls visiting her dentist was one of her favorite experiences growing up. That early comfort eventually turned into a profession she truly loves. She believes dentistry is both a science and an art, and finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of the process that helps restore smiles and improve patients’ confidence and comfort. Heisha is dedicated to patient care and enjoys continuously learning and growing within the dental field.
At Evergreen Dental Care, Heisha assists Dr. Chi in preparing treatment rooms, ensuring proper sterilization procedures, assisting him during dental procedures, including but not limited to, fillings, crowns, extractions, implant procedures and denture processes, as well. Moreover, she helps Dr.Chi provide a thorough clinical exam for our patients by taking dental radiographs and CBCT scans, taking impressions using primescan and pours models for dentures, night guards and whitening trays for patients of various ages in our dental practice. As she monitors patient comfort and safety throughout procedures for patients, she is dedicated to patient care and enjoys continuously learning and growing at Evergreen Dental Care.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, taking walks with her two French bulldogs, Anakin and Akai, exploring new restaurants with her husband and meeting new friends.
Abby
Patient Care Coordinator
Her main responsibilities include assisting with confirmations, scheduling, and patient inquiries over the phone and in-person. In addition, she helps coordinate intra-office messages between patients and Dr. Chi, and as well as inter-office communications with various specialists and insurance companies. At Evergreen Dental Care, her dedication in helping patients with her warm smile and in providing assistance for patients grows everyday as she meets current and new patients.
In her spare time, Abby enjoys knitting and crocheting, cooking, playing board and card games, and spending time with friends and family.
